It’s district final week and we have a ton of games on tap. Here’s a look at what we have in front of us this week and beyond!

The top-seeded team will host each game.

DIVISION I

Central 1 District

#4 Westerville South 3, #7 Hilliard Darby 2

Westerville South wins its first ever district title and will advance to the regional semifinals to take on No. 1 Olentangy Orange on Thurs., June 3 at 5 p.m. at Dublin Coffman.

Central 2 District

#2 New Albany 5, #5 Olentangy Liberty 2

New Albany wins its third-straight district title and will advance to the regional semifinals to take on No. 6 Lancaster on Thurs., June 3 at 2 pm. at Dublin Coffman.

Central 3 District

#1 Olentangy Orange 5, #11 Olentangy Berlin 1

Top-seeded Orange knocked off district rival Berlin for the district title and will advance to the regional semifinals to take on No. 4 Westerville South on Thurs., June 3 at 5 p.m. at Dublin Coffman.

Central 4 District

#6 Lancaster 2, #3 Grove City 1 F/11

Riley Poston’s lead-off triple and game-winning run in the top of the 11th propelled Lancaster to a third-consecutive district title. Grove City left the bases loaded in both the bottom of the 9th and 10th innings.

Lancaster advances to the regional semifinals to take on No. 2 New Albany on Thurs., June 3 at 2 p.m. at Dublin Coffman.

Division II

Central 1 District

#1 Bloom-Carroll 4, #10 DeSales 3

Bloom-Carroll wins the district in thrilling fashion and advances to the regional semifinals to take on Cambridge on Thurs., June 3 at 2 p.m. at Teays Valley.

Central 2 District

#2 Highland 4, #6 Lakewood 3 F/11

Highland wins the district in extra innings and advances to the regional semifinals to take on Dayton Carroll on Thurs., June 3 at 5 p.m. at Mason.

Division III

Central 1 District

#3 Liberty Union 4, #9 Columbus Academy 0

Liberty Union advances to the regional semifinals to take on the winner of Minster and Eastwood on Thurs., June 3 at 5 p.m. at Elida.

Central 2 District

#2 Fredericktown 4, #6 Amanda-Clearcreek 3

Fredericktown advances to the regional semifinals to take on Barnesville on Thurs., June 3 at 5 p.m. at Mount Vernon.

Division IV

Central 1 District

#5 East Knox 7, #3 Berne Union 5 F/9

East Knox wins the district in extra innings and advances to the regional semifinals to take on Berlin Hiland on Thurs., June 3 at 5 p.m. at Beavers Field in Lancaster.

Central 2 District

#1 Fisher Catholic 9, #2 Newark Catholic 5

Fisher Catholic wins its first district title since 2005 and advances to the regional semifinals to take on Russia on Thurs., June 3 at 5 p.m. at Cincinnati Princeton.
